The 16,000 hours servicing of four units RS30i Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor at Azura Power Plant (APP) Ihovbor, Edo State was done in line with the time-based preventive maintenance program for the machines.

Azura power plant is one of the privately owned power plants that generates about 450 Megawatt of electricity to national grid sited at Ihovbor in Edo state of Nigeria. The company has proven its expertise in generating power for Nigeria.

On the 26th of August 2022, a crew of two personnel from BOG’s Rotating Equipment (RE)unit mobilized to site to carry out servicing on four of  the  units  –  RS30i  Ingersoll  Rand  Air Compressors. The team completed the task within 3 days.

The service would prevent a possible breakdown and ensure increased productivity in the plant.

Having completed the task successfully, the client was satisfied with the level of the servicing done on the four units of  compressors.  The Power Plant completed a customer satisfaction form and commended  BOG for  professionalism on completing the task.  

BOG will continue to give and accept feedback from Azura Power Plant until the next scheduled maintenance.
