Mr. Ahmad Ask, Ingersoll Rand (IR) Sales Manager, Power Tools and Lifting Equipment visited BOG Port Harcourt office in May 2018. The purpose of the visit was to strategise on ways to improve market penetration of power tools and lifting equipment. Ingersoll Rand is BOG’s technical partner for centrifugal and rotary screw compressors and pumps.

Ahmad had sessions with BOG Business Development and Rotating Equipment Teams, before proceeding on client visits along with BOG business development executives. Some of the clients visited are Buyers at Total Nigeria, The Sales Team at Mantrac Nigera Limited and the Procurement and Workshop Teams at Indorama Petrochemicals.

Discussions at the meetings were centred around IR power tools and lifting equipment, but with a few points on other IR products and services.

This visit has deepened the existing relationship between IR and BOG. It has also strategically positioned both IR and BOG for upcoming opportunities.

Ahmad also used the opportunity to train BOG personnel on the power tools and lifting equipment.
