In August 2024, Bell Oil & Gas FZE (BOG FZE) welcomed an impromptu safety inspection team from the Lekki Free Zone Development Company and the Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority (NEPZA). This inspection was part of the Lekki Free Zone Enterprise’s (LFZE) safety management system activities, aimed at ensuring compliance with the required health and safety standards across all organizations within the zone.
The primary goal of the inspection was to evaluate BOG FZE’s adherence to safety protocols, including employee welfare, facility maintenance, and overall operational safety. The inspection covered critical areas of BOG FZE’s operations, including the OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) plant, Valve Assembly plant, Composite Pipes System, and the general environment of the facility.
Following a thorough review, the inspection team found no non-conformities at the BOG FZE facility. They commended the company for its robust safety management system, highlighting it as one of the most exemplary within the Lekki Free Zone. BOG FZE’s commitment to maintaining high safety standards was applauded, with encouragement to continue improving our health and safety performance.
At Bell Oil Gas FZE, safety is not just a policy—it’s a culture. Our dedication to providing a safe working environment, enhancing employee welfare, and minimizing operational risks is part of our broader corporate vision to be the reference point for best-in-class safety and operational practices in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
