I joined in July 2009
What do you remember about your first day?
The striking thing I can remember is the warm reception that I received from the staff members and the meeting with the directors.
What are your career ambitions and what steps have you taken to accomplish those goals?
My career ambition is to be an outstanding and one-stop person who provides efficient and effective solutions for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and their prime movers.
What are some of your fondest memories over the past 15 years?
Multiple exposures via OEM training outside the shores of Nigeria.
Describe BOG
BOG is a place where you are opportuned to learn a lot about your field and life.
What are your most notable accomplishments over the years?
Being an OEM certified service engineer is a joy to remember. Also, delivering operational excellence to Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) for several years as a running contract on operations and maintenance of Sundyne Pumps without any service quality concerns.
How has the company contributed to your development in the last 15 years?
Frankly speaking, the organization has contributed to my development in various ways, especially in the area of becoming an expert in Rotating Equipment offerings. There has been continuous development through opportunities to be trained in OEM facilities such as Ingersol Rand in France, Milton Roy in France and Sundyne in France. Moreso, there has been on-the-job training as we provide regular support in rotating equipment to the general and oil & gas industries.
How has the BOG values affected your personal/ private life?
The core values have been able to consciously and subconsciously impact the way I see a number of things in life generally. It has taught me to be responsibly loyal to people and things that are dear to me in terms of value addition. One of the values has also helped me to develop my working with people within and outside the organization collaboratively. These values have helped me to strive to do things excellently and be fair to all.
