As part of our after sales support services, BOG Senior Product Specialist – Flow Control, Chinedu Nnenanya, visited and made a presentation to the Warehouse Team at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Port Harcourt, on how to properly store valves over a long period.
A valve is a device that regulates, directs or controls the flow of fluids. In order to prevent valves from getting damaged and ensure they work optimally, they must be stored properly.
During the presentation, members of the Warehouse Team, were enlightened on the proper way to store valves to avert incidences of valves damage or failure. The presentation covered all our valve manufacturers and opened a channel for deeper penetration of the valve user departments in Shell, especially through the Warehouse Team.
Members of the Warehouse Team were impressed with the presentation and they appreciated the effort of BOG. The Warehouse Supervisor, Mr. Peter Oluwatunmise, appreciated BOG for the timely presentation and for enlightening them on better ways of storing the valves. After the presentation, the Warehouse Team conducted BOG representatives round the locations where the valves are kept.
