These Innovative products are value-adding features of BOG complimented with its expert CPS service team who recently embarked on the Mobil Shutdown project at the Mobil-Usan Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility.
The scope of work covered spoolable pipes fabrication, installation and functional test.
Usan, an FPSO facility is located 60 miles south, of the coast of Nigeria in the Gulf of Guinea. It began production in February 2012 and is expected to reach its peak of approximately 180KBD. The estimated “proven and probable” reserve is more than 500 million barrels.
Usan shut down project kicked off with the fabrication of the 16”x 10” Trunnion spool in BOG’s state-of-the-art 42,000 square feet fabrication facility.

The completed spooled fittings were transported to the Usan facility for complete repairs of the leaking joints and installation.
The client, ExxonMobil was very satisfied with the quality of work done, resulting in BOG being awarded a new scope of work.
