BOG has been a service provider for Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Ltd for over ten years
Last year, BOG and NLNG signed a five-year agreement to carry out commissioning, maintenance, and repair of all Sundyne pumps and accessories at the NLNG Plant on Bonny Island. In line with this agreement, a two-person team from the Rotating Equipment (RE) unit embarked on a project to repair a Sundyne Integrally Geared API process Pump LMV 311 at the plant from May 25th to 29th .
The Sundyne Integrally Geared American Petroleum Institute (API) process pump is a centrifugal pump engineered for critical high-head, low-flow, Heavy-duty services required in hydrocarbon, chemical, petrochemical, power generation, gas production, and specialty processing industries.
NLNG’s plant at Bonny Island ranks amongst the biggest and top performers worldwide. The plant has six processing units with a total processing yearly capacity of 22million tonnes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and up to 5 million tonnes of natural gas liquids. NLNG accounts for approximately 7% of the world’s total Liquefied Natural Gas supply.
The repair will ensure the Sundyne pump optimization for better efficiency.
