At Bell Oil & Gas we believe that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is integral to the long term sustainability of our organization. Much of our CSR activities are centered on education, healthcare, public infrastructure development and community involvement in our projects.
Recently, we provided school desks with chairs to the junior class students of Community Secondary School, Abuloma, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Community Development Committee wrote us requesting for desks with chairs for some of their students. Our visit to the school showed that the students were managing the few bad chairs and desks while majority sat on the floor to take their classes. The condition was not conducive for learning. Desks with chairs are one of the basic infrastructure to enhance learning. Bell Oil made provisions for desks with chairs to be provided and delivered to the school.
The students were extremely excited when the desks were delivered to the school. The school authority, the community leaders and the students expressed their gratitude to Bell Oil & Gas.
We are also involved in providing computers, books and other learning materials to selected public schools in order to enhance the standard of education in the country.
