
A Q1 activity involved BOG proudly joining industry leaders at the Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU) – a company formed after Seplat Energy’s recent acquisition of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU) – Wells Safety Leadership Forum, held at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos. Themed “Safety is Deliberate, Not by Accident,” the forum highlighted the importance of safety practices in the oil and gas sector.
The forum, facilitated by the SEPNU Wells Team, brought together key stakeholders from various service providers, including SLB, AOS Orwell, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Weafri, Relentech, Weatherford, Kenyon, Power and Energy, and Bell Oil & Gas, among others. The goal was to strengthen partnerships, enhance collaboration, and drive actionable steps toward a safer working environment.

- Procedures & Processes: Stressing the need for frequent updates based on operational learnings, customer feedback, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership’s Role: Encouraging leadership site visits, effective communication, competitive remuneration, and mental health support for employees.
