As a result of BOG’s vast experience in the provision, Installation, and maintenance of flow control and instrumentation products, BOG deployed a 7-man team to work on the AGBAMI FPSO Minox Debottlenecking project (MD) which was commissioned on the 6th of September 2019. The two-phase MD project is related to the fabrication of new flanged spools to accommodate change of Level Control Valves in the system. The first phase of the MD project was exceptional because the Chevron Agbami FPSO produces a significant portion of Nigeria’s daily oil production. The Client requested for a system reduction, in terms of vibration, whilst maintaining full capacity at all times. This is was achieved. The phase 1 of the MD project was very successful as a result of effective planning and output from the BOG team The MD project was needed to make sure the FPSO keeps performing at optimum capacity for the future. The next phase of the project is scheduled to hold in a few weeks.
