In line with BOG’s strategy to be a dominant player in oilfield services in Nigeria, we have continued to explore opportunities that will deepen and broaden our presence in the industry.
Towards fulfilling this objective, two (2) representatives of China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL), Tao Fu and Zhang Xuecheng, recently visited BOG to discuss further collaborations on drilling opportunities. They were received by the CEO, Kayode Thomas and Chief Operating Officier (COO), Ayo Aderibigbe.
China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) is one of the leading integrated oilfield services providers in the world, with over 50 years of experience in offshore operation covering each phase of offshore oil and gas exploration, development and production.
With its four core business segments of geophysical and surveying services, drilling services, well services, marine support and transportation services, COSL not only provides services of single operations for the customers, but also offers integrated package and turnkey services. COSL business activities are conducted not only in offshore China, but also extend to Asia-paciifc, Middle East, America, Europe and Far East, covering more than 30 countries and regions in the world.
Discussions centred around core partnership opportunities in services such as: drilling, offshore drilling rigs, casing and tubing running services, logging, cementing and completions. The aim was to deepen and broaden our presence in the sector and other areas within the value chain where we can play a significant role.
With this visit, BOG and COSL will continue to work together towards delivering topclass drilling services to our numerous clients.
