BOG’s Kayode Thomas, Ayo Aderibigbe and Yemi Gbeja with Chinese Joint Venture Partners at the site
The proposed BOG multimillion Dollar facility set to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2020 will have an ultra-modern pipe threading plant that will cater for a wide range of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) from 2” to 5-1/2” and from 7” to 13-3/8”. These sizes were revalidated when the Chinese Joint Venture (JV) partners visited Lagos. The BOG threading plant is a joint venture with a Chinese pipe manufacturing company. Representatives of this company visited the site and met with the management of the Lekki Free Zone (LFZ) in October. They also had detailed discussions with members of BOG’s management team on the threading plant and the technical aspects of the project. Following the discussions, BOG has engaged a steel construction company at the LFZ as part of efforts towards meeting the project completion target.
