OMB is BOG’s technical partner for valves. In July 2018, the Sales Manager of OMB, Mr. Karim Zareba, visited BOG to make joint presentations to clients.
The OMB valves group, headquartered in Cenate Sotto, Bergamo, Italy, is a diversified manufacturerer of valves for the energy industries. The OMB group has, over the years, acquired knowledge and experience in design and manufacture of valves.
Recently, they acquired Vogt Valves (formerly Flowserve) – manufacturers of Dual Plate Check Valves – providing a wider range of valves to source from.
The group operates plants in Italy, Singapore, the United States of America and Saudi Arabia. It has direct presence in the United Kingdom (UK), Japan, Korea, China and Canada and a distribution network that covers all the major oil producing countries.
During Karim’s visit, joint client meetings were held with key clients like Mobil Producing Nigeria, Chevron Nigeria, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), Addax Petroleum, DeltaAfrik Engineering and Dangote Industry Limited, among others.
Karim and BOG representatives were able to speak to a wide audience on OMB’s improved lead timme and prices for different sizes of valves. The visit has already brought immediate gains, while a lot more abounds.
