BOG was recently honored with the ‘Oil Service Company of the Year’ award. This award was given to BOG at the Nigerian News Direct 5th Anniversary Lecture and Awards Ceremony that held on Friday, November 27, 2015, at Eko Hotel and Suites. The fast emerging media house brought together captains of industry from both the public and private sectors to rub minds on the need for diversification of Nigeria’s economy.
With this focus on diversification, speakers at the event emphasized the need for public private partnership in creating other tangible sources of income for the Federal Government, especially in agriculture and solid minerals.
While recognizing the significant impact BOG has played in the oil servicing sector, it was acknowledged during the presentation of the award that BOG “has been able to respond swiftly to its clients’ requirements in a world class and distinctive way’’.
