In continuation of Bell Oil and Gas commitment to provide bespoke and cost-efficient designs and solutions in Composite Pipe Systems (CPS), the CPS team embarked on installing a new sewage line at Chevron’s Abiteye facility.
The Abiteye oil field is a 42000 a day crude oil flow station located in Warri Delta state. The scope of the project includes hydro-test, fabrication, and installation of BOG’s GlassFibre reinforced pipes (GRE) that exceed expectations in weight savings and corrosion resistance.
With BOG known to have the only In-country fabrication facility for composite pipes in Nigeria as a result of its passion to drive local content development, it is certain that Chevron will enjoy the benefits of a longer product life cycle that will save the environment from sewage discharge.
The GRE pipes will stand the test of time for years to come even in the midst of damp conditions, saltwater, contaminated soil, and corrosive media.
