The MD/CEO of BOG, Mr. Kayode Thomas, in setting the tone for business development in BOG in 2016 financial year, had Client Management Sessions with the client facing departments in both Lagos and Port Harcourt offices.

The main thrust of the sessions was to have a new ammunition with which to win business in the present clime;  to understand that in this difficult times in the industry, utmost attention must be paid to our clients, their needs and how we can best meet those needs.

Three (3) key elements were identified as necessary if the company is to achieve its set targets. These include:

Relationship Management – There is a need to understand and develop close relationships with both internal and external clients.

Self-Management – the client facing team should plan, manage time, prioritize, mind their appearance, image and attitude, personal habits, passion, drive and ambition.

Business / Market Intelligence – We need to know all about our clients, competitors, product/services and the industry.

At the end of the sessions, participants gained knowledge which should continue to enhance the company’s growth if imbibed as a lifestyle.
