Two BOG Field Service Engineers were mobilized for the commissioning of Milton Roy Chemical Injection Skids (CIS) for the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC)’s flow station in Ogbotobo, Bayelsa State. Chemical injection systems/packages are designed to inject specialty chemicals into a system at a precise and calculated rate. The Ogbotobo Flow station has a capacity to produce 45,000 barrels of oil per day.
Milton Roy specializes in developing and marketing chemical dosing pumps, chemical dosing packages and mixers. BOG is the exclusive representative of Milton Roy Europe (MRE) in Nigeria.
The installation part of the project (Phase 1) was carried out between 10th – 18th January 2018 while the commissioning and calibration (Phase 2) of the Chemical Injection Skids was done between 24th and 26th February 2018. The project lasted a total of 12 days.
