As a leading player in the Composite Pipe Systems (CPS) sector, Bell Oil and Gas (BOG) has a Category ‘A’ Nigerian Content Equipment Certificate in composite pipes systems. The Nigerian Content Equipment Certification (NCEC) is given to companies who Assemble, Manufacture, or Calibrate equipment in Nigeria. The category ‘A’ certificate gives us first consideration in all tenders related to GRE pipes.
The company owns the only in-country CPS fabrication facility in Nigeria, which is manned by a team of experienced personnel who provide maintenance services and meet the demands of delivering multifaceted projects like the MobilERHA 12″ Glass Fibre Re-enforced Epoxy(GRE) pipe repair project recently executed.
A team of experienced engineers embarked on the GRE pipe repair project from June 27 to July 8 to fabricate, install, and perform a functional test on a ruptured 12-inch GRE line on the ERHA FPSO facility.
The ERHA Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility has a liquid storage capacity of 2.2 million barrels, making it one of the biggest of its kind.
The fabricated flanged spool was installed on 12″ branch of a 40″ sea-water header network. BOG successfully repaired all the leaking joints on the fire water lines. The misalignment issue that caused the failure was also corrected.
This project’s success re-validates BOG’s status as the foremost oil and gas service company for procurement, fabrication and maintenance of composite pipes.
