Two (2) field service engineers from the Rotating Equipment team engaged in repair works on a Sundyne pump (LMV 311) at the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Company (NLNG), Bonny Island, River State. The overhaul lasted 7 days.
The pump is used for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) re-injection in the NLNG plant. It transfers LPG into the injection system. With this repair, the NLNG now has a set of two pumps for full capacity production. It is expected that there should be no down time, even if one pump goes down.
