The BOG Rotating Equipment (RE) Team embarked on a project at the Ofon platform for Total E&P Nigeria Limited (TEPNG) on May 10th.
The platform is located on the Ofon Field, an oil and natural gas field situated in the Oil Mining Lease (OML) 102, about 65km offshore on the south-eastern coast of Nigeria. Ofon field is owned 60% by NNPC and 40% by TEPNG in a JV partnership with TEPNG as operator.
The scope of work included inspecting and repairing the platform’s instrument control fault on its Ingersoll Rand(IR) Compressor SH75 A/C, known for its efficiency and robust design, which drives productivity.
Ingersoll Rand is a diversified industrial manufacturer of compressor systems, power tools, ARO pumps and lifting and material handling equipment. BOG is the channel partner of IR in Nigeria, representing IR’s diverse products and solutions.
The successful repair of the equipment will power the instrument air equipment. The equipment range includes pressure transmitters, process valves, wellhead control valves, High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS) Valve, Shut down valve, Wellhead control panel, choke valve, and air actuator valves.
