Vonk Choke Area Sales Manager, Martijn Wiggers, visited BOG in Lagos to meet with foremost exploration and production companies on application of choke valves, production choke valves, level control valves, water and gas injection valves and gas lift valves to their production processes.
Vonk Choke, a subsidiary of Pentair Valves, have their head office in Netherlands and have been in existence over 50 years. The company operates majorly in the oil and gas industry and has rendered services to the likes of Total, Exxon Mobil, Maersk and Shelf Drilling Holdings.
Meetings were held with Lekoil and Oriental Energy and a short presentation was made to their Production and Drilling Engineers (User Department) on choke valves used on well heads for drilling.
Explanations were made on the application of the chokes valves which include; oil and gas production choke, level control valves, water and gas injection valves and gas lift valves.
Talks were also held on Choke Integrity System (CIS), a new product used to detect when heavy corrosion is about to start and it will automatically shut the choke down. This is a key advantage over competitors.
